Species of crab in the genus Lybia have a remarkable form of defense. Where the chela (Or pincer) is in most crab species Lybia sp. instead cultivates anemones to act as a defense. This has earnt these crabs the common name of boxer crabs or the more cute name of pom pom crabs. Pom pom crabs have also been known to grow sponges and even coral on their pincers. This has to be one of the more remarkable examples of mutualism in the animal kingdom that I know of.
